Itinerary

  • Arrive in Peru’s capital and explore its historic heart. Tour colonial plazas, catacombs, and the pre-Inca ruins of Huallamarca. Enjoy breathtaking Pacific views from Miraflores and indulge in one of the world’s most celebrated culinary scenes.

  • Fly to Cusco and descend into the fertile Sacred Valley. Visit markets in Chinchero, salt mines in Maras, and Inca terraces in Moray. Tour the living museum of Awanacancha and the fortress town of Ollantaytambo.

  • Begin your once-in-a-lifetime trek:

    • Day 5: Train to Km 82, hike to Huayllabamba.

    • Day 6: Summit Dead Woman’s Pass (13,850 ft.)

    • Day 7: Visit Sayacmarca and camp near Phuyupatamarca.

    • Day 8: Descend past Wiñay Wayna, arrive at Machu Picchu via the Sun Gate.

    • Porters, gear, meals, and guided support included.

  • Optional early morning hike up Huayna Picchu for panoramic views. Return via the luxury Hiram Bingham train featuring fine dining, cocktails, and live music en route to Cusco.
